2. Forming a contract with us.
- 2.1 When you have placed an order with us, you are confirming you that making an offer to buy goods. We will send you a confirmation to say that we have received your order.
- 2.2 In the unlikely that the goods are no longer available or out of stock, we will inform you of this and no contract will have been formed with us.
- 2.3 Images on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Your purchase or finished item that you have been making following instructions (recipes), may vary slightly from the image or instructions published on this website. Any accessories shown in the images or instructions (recipes) are not included in the sale unless otherwise stated.
- 2.4 We have made every effort possible to produce the images as close as possible to the original item that appear on the website. We cannot guarantee that your monitor or device will accurately reproduce the colour of the product or goods.
- 2.5 We try at all times to be as accurate as possible with images and information provided, however all is provided in good faith and approximated.
3 How to place an order
3.1 Please place your order through our website, unfortunately we are unable to take your order by telephone. Select the product you wish to purchase and add it to your basket. If you change your mind or wish to remove an item from your basket, you will have an opportunity to remove them.
3.2 The buyer takes responsibility that the goods are suitable for the purchase they are being purchased for.
3.3 Postage and packaging costs will be shown at checkout.
3.4 You will be required to pay for the goods in full at the time of purchase.
3.5 We have secure payment facilities for purchases made online. You can pay by, PayPal, Visa, Master Card or Delta/Debit.
3.6 promotional prices only apply during the period stated.
3.7 All prices displayed on our websites are in UK pounds and include VAT at 20%
4 Postage and packing
4.1 Your purchase will be dispatched from us within 3-5 working days and if we supply an estimated delivery date, this is an estimate and may change without notice. Dispatch may be delayed with respect to point 4.6
4.2 All deliveries will be sent out by second class post or by courier and should be received within 2-3 days. Deliveries may be delayed with respect to point 4.6
4.3 Your order may be split into more than one delivery.
4.4 We will not accept responsibility for loss or damage if the delivery company are instructed to leave the goods unattended.
4.5 If the goods are lost or damaged please report this to us within two days of the estimated delivery date.
4.6 On occasion for reasons beyond our control we may not be able to make your delivery as planned. These may include accidents, breakdowns, fire, flood, severe weather, storms, war, riot, acts of God, civil commotion, malicious damage or default of our suppliers. We will not be held responsible should any of these causes a delay or failure of your delivery. 4.7 Free delivery is offered on cosmetics purchased over £25 and candles over £60. This is subject to change and may change without notice.
5 Cancellation and returns
5.1 This policy does not apply to businesses that have ordered goods which are exempt from The Consumer Contract Regulations. Any business to business transactions will have their own unique setoff terms for cancellation and returns. For trade customers see section 8
5.2 You can cancel your order up to 14 days after the day of delivery. To do this please email or write to us. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept cancelations by telephone. Point 5.1 explains items that are exempt from this.
5.4 If you cancel your order, you must return the goods within 14 of notifying us, in its original packing and sent to an address specified by us at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged properly to protect them from damage.
5.5 We will refund all monies paid by you to us including any postage and packaging charges that we may have made. Less any costs that may be outstanding. Please see 5.1 for any exclusions.
5.6 We are not liable for any loss of earning that you may incur due to late, incorrect or lost deliveries.
5.7 We reserve the right to refuse a replacement on damaged goods outside the two working days. Please refer to 4.5
This cancellation policy does not affect your legal right – for example if the goods are found to be faulty or misdescribed.
6 Faulty goods
6.1 If you unhappy with the goods, please notify us immediately by email or in writing giving details of the problem. If you are able to upload a digital picture this may help speed up resolving the matter. We will deal with your enquiry in accordance with your legal rights. Please refer to point 4.5 for time limitations regarding this.
6.2 If an exchange is required, we will endeavour to do this without delay and charge. We are unable to despatch your replacement goods until either, we receive a digital image indicating the problem or we have received the faulty goods back at an address specified by us.
The cost of returning a product is the customers responsibility, on inspection though we will refund your reasonable postage costs, as long as the product is found to be faulty. If the product is found not to faulty, we will return the goods to you and you will be required to recompense us our reasonable postage costs.
6.3 If a product is no longer available we will offer you an alternative. Our liability is to replace the faulty product and if we cannot offer you an exact replacement we will offer you a full refund. Please see exception in 6.2
6.4 We are unable to exchange or refund cosmetic products if they have been used or the safety packaging has been removed. This is due to the risk of contamination. We can only offer an exchange or refund if the product is faulty.
6.5 If it is not required for you to send the faulty product back to us, it is your responsibility to dispose of the faulty goods.
6.6 An exact colour match cannot be given due to manufacturing process of the products. 6.7 Please pay particular attention to the “Pull Away” article this explains what may seem like a bubble on the side of some candles. This is not a fault it is a characteristic of the wax reacting to changes in temperature.
6.8 Please also pay particular attention to the “Candle Care” article which explains how to get the best out of your candle. No liability is accepted if these guidelines are not adhered to.
8 Trade and/or business customers.
The following applies to trade and/or business customer orders only.
8.1 Cancellation of an order will not be accepted unless this is done so by agreement and made in writing by the person placing the order or someone in higher authority. You may also be charged a cancellation and/or a restocking charge.
8.2 To process a claim for damaged or missing products must be made within 2 working days of delivery.
8.3 If a quote has been requested, it is the responsibility of the buyer to check the accuracy of the quote.
8.4 The buyer takes full responsibility that the products that they are purchasing are fit for intention that they are to be resold for.
